Unclaimed dead

The explosion of a truck propylene caused 215 deaths in the camping Alfacs Els in 1978. Half a dozen of these bodies have never been claimed by anyone. The death toll grows increasingly anonymous in this society unstructured. In our country there are about 3,000 unidentified bodies. Others do have, but after six months or two years and no one is interested in them end up in a cemetery without a headstone or remain in the morgue fridge as a pending criminal case, if the case so requires. Nothing more.

Nor there is often a correlation between those who disappeared and are eagerly sought after by their family members in Spain are reported each year 15,000 disappearances of children, and only those other dead, anonymous or not, that nobody wants. And is that just as there are alternative lifestyles, regardless of the rules established social-economy, poverty, people without papers, money that is forgotten in bank deposits, ... - there are also marginal killed, expelled from the system , so to speak, people who care so little living and dead. We talked about increasingly frequent cases. Nor is it trivial figures. For what is familiar in Romania and Senegal wants to take over a documented immigrant is indigent? Or how to identify, in other cases, no other bodies belonging to their own misery? Although intended to ignore many of these stories, the unclaimed dead, and funeral claims are also examples of the current economic crisis in its most tragic and gruesome.
