As a native of New York City and also a marketing executive for a top retailer of jewelry, I find my number one duty to stay abreast of current trends of celebrities and high society alike. OK - so it might seem a bit 'excessive, especially given that fashion is (literally) all around me. On the streets of SoHo, on the subway, at one of nine billion Starbucks in Manhattan.
