How blogs are popular today?

In recent studies by the American Life Project and The Guardian (UK), the researchers asked if the popularity of blogs today has been growing in both countries, and if so, why? The results on the popularity of blogs today were not exactly what most members of the blogosphere you might expect.

Researchers working on the American Life Project found that the popularity of blogs today in terms of readers in the United States was absolutely explode, but they also found that the amount of blogs available increased slowly in comparison. Over the last six months of 2004, for example, readers of the blog has grown from a mere 17% of the population to a robust 37% - a significant increase. However, the writers of blogs has increased only by 5% and 7%, and largely maintained their homogeneous composition, which is predominantly male, young, and rich. The ALP readers attributed the explosion to the presidential race, where both candidates used blogging in some form of campaign to attract donors.

The Guardian, who performed their most recent study also found similar results in the United Kingdom on the popularity of blogs today. While readers have also found that increased significantly, they found the same problem of slow growth blog, however, did find that a rather surprising 30% of frequent Internet users had never heard of a blog.

So, which way is the popularity of blogs today, moving - For greater profusion or darkness?

Since blogs are the best intermediary between web sites and forums, it is difficult to imagine that diminish the popularity of blogs today, on the contrary, however, is not difficult to imagine that will significantly improve continuously the way they have changed since their inception in the mid 1990's.

In the short term, it is safe enough to imagine that the blogs will experience the greatest video technology, while older blogs stick with easier, faster loading models. It 'also pretty sure that the methods for image indexing blog will continue to improve and may even break with the traditional algorithm .......
