The "company leaders today?

The "company today? is highly competitive, with a capacity of permeability and almost immediate and seamless adaptability to market conditions and customer needs, with an effective system of feedback and analysis of information from the environment, a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, especially highly profitable. With the features mentioned above can be said to be the description of the business model that all shareholders, customers, employees, society and stakeholders in general with whom they want to be involved.

Any company that wants to grow, although not explicitly stated, this model seeks to become the medium and long term. The road itself is not easy, it adds that the company management does not know how and where to begin the process of change. They spend thousands of dollars in consulting, systems support, implementation of management tools such as those established with ISO 9000 and so fashionable Scorecard. The best is done to standardize and facilitate the collection of information of the company, achieving a more orderly and clear reading on the same results as were obtained prior to implementation.

The "company today? should be guided by the "leader today?, without this combination is very likely to continue bad spending money on more consulting and implementations that do not reciprocate expected. Senior management must become the "leader? the "Business Today? to achieve this desired model. The "leader today? is the one with the ability to collect and interpret the environment in which it operates the company is able to make decisions based on that understanding and monitoring the results achieved with them. The directors or managers of businesses today are increasingly tending to be only desktop leaders, when in reality should lead the investigation, implementations and analysis of results obtained with them. Only in this way can interpret the environment and the impact into the company and vice versa. This does not mean that directors and managers personally perform the work, to have everything that a team which should be used effectively. However, there is a difference between requesting reports from internal and external situation to the team and leading the collection and analysis of them.

The "leader today? must have the ability to adapt quickly to change, in order to transmit the entire team that ability to adapt and constantly changing environment as needed. The "leader today? must first be converted to then be able to transmit and require your staff what you want them to be and the way you want them to act. To direct the "company today? must be ethical, disciplined, organized, proactive, innovative and above all, not a manager or director behind a desk. The leader must constantly on issues relating to industry, because it must be a leader and an effective guide for team, in turn, should focus on training qualified personnel, only then can have a team that can keep pace required at present. It is important to consider training as a profitable investment for the company as long as you have the ability to select the type of training required by each team member according to their responsibilities and duties assigned.

When the company manages to soak a culture of discipline, order, pro-activity, ethics, continuous innovation and constant one thing, the change, you can say that it is time to invest in consulting or implementation of tools such as systems quality management, the Balanced Score Card and other contemporary relevance. With this model of organization the tools mentioned above will be seen as a means of being more competitive, and not just as a goal to reach. The company will use these tools to improve and innovate constantly and this will yield favorable.

It is likely that many managers think that the above is just a utopia in direction, and continue with their current leadership style, which has brought positive results so far. However, these results will be enough to compete in a local or regional market, but for those who want to grow, compete internationally, marking the path of the industry and above all stay at that level, the leadership style which should be tender.
