Although it seems a novel technique for some, hydroponics has been used for decades with great success. Although you can back into antiquity (some authors affirm that the Hanging Gardens of Babylon were hydroponic), has been until recent years that has become popular, mainly because of new materials and technologies available.

Europe has a hydroponic extension that occupies much of their territory and produce, in a small space, much more than traditional farmers more efficient. I guess this is why many people consider that hydroponics is somewhat complicated.

As with many other things, hydroponics can be as complicated as thou do. It has long evolved from a novel technique to become a whole science, research and development each year. Still, the basic hydroponics is still very easy.

All you need is to read a bit to see how it works, and make the hydroponic system that suits you. If you do not win or you get very complicated, there are many commercial systems available that will include everything needed to initiate and maintain your home culture.

One of the problems today is that spaces are extremely limited. The houses are increasingly less garden area and does not seem to fit anything. Having a garden on your own in these conditions is practically impossible, however, using hydroponics can use one of its many irrigation systems to take advantage of the walls, ceiling, windows and whatever space you have free.

Unlike conventional agriculture, hydroponics you only limited by the basic needs of plants, you can easily meet, beyond that, the only limit is your imagination. Hydroponics can be something as simple as a potted plant, to be a real working automated hydroponic system in your home.

Hydroponics combines ease and affordability. If we sum much greater production than other techniques, can hardly go wrong. Just a matter of deciding and test.
