Jardin Botanico La Laguna in El Salvador, Central

AN OASIS OF NATURAL FRESH

Today I want to take for a walk very colorful and fresh, in which nature speaks of her beauty, delicacy and harmony. The course is a unique experience why today I want to guide them through these lines.

One of the most charming and wonderful places in El Salvador is undoubtedly Laguna Botanical Garden, the location is very curious, is at the bottom of a crater, where centuries earlier was a gap, hence derives part of its name is a beautiful oasis in the midst of an extensive industrial area south of Antiguo Cuscatlan, La Libertad department.

Its natural beauty has 60 apples, of which only 4.5 are aimed at visitors, predominantly its extensive wooded area in permanent protection. Its 3,500 species of domestic and foreign plants are distributed in 32 zones with varied collections: orchids, ferns, desert plants, medicinal plants, bromeliads, home garden, and native vegetation in their surroundings.

The tour of the garden is full of quiet and magical surprises, including the singing of birds, fluttering butterflies, the pleasant sound of a small waterfall coming from the forest, the ingenious decorating their various collections, and a beautiful pond with fish and aquatic plants.

It also has children's entertainment area, a herbarium for the constant study of plant collections, a library of personalized attention, with documentation on issues of ecology, gardening, among others. A large nursery is located at one side open to the public for trade in plants.

This destination is visited by thousands of students, domestic and foreign tourists every year, if you have not yet enjoyed this earthly paradise, we invite you to enjoy this magical experience.

Remember that El Salvador is a great destination for your next vacation and to learn more visit www.destinoselsalvador.com to an upcoming trip to El Salvador.
